NL Changing the Language
The default language after the installation of Website Baker is English. Three steps are required to change the language according your needs. The example below installs the German language file (DE.txt), which can be replaced by your preferred language.
Download the language file
Language files are text files which can be viewed and saved via the Save As dialogue of your browser. Browse to the Add-Ons Repository and open your language file in the browser. You can download the language file displayed in your browser via the File Save As dialogue of your browser. The figure below shows the procedure for the German language file DE.txt using the German version of the browser Firefox.

The language file needs to be stored on your local computer. The best place for Windows based operating systems is the Desktop or C:\.
Install the language file
The installation of your language file is done via the Website Baker backend. A click on the text link Languages shown in the figure below guides you to the installation routine for language files.

Click on the Button Durchsuchen .. (caption depends on the language of your operating system) as shown in the figure below. Then browse to the language file previously downloaded (e.g. DE.txt). The path to the language file is automatically added to the text area highlighted in red.
Install the German language file
Press the button: Install to upload and install the language file on your webserver.
Change the default language
After the language file is installed, you need to change the Website Baker default language settings. The default language is used as default value for all users and for all pages you will create. The setting can be found in the Website Baker backend. A click on the Symbol or the text link Settings guides you to the administration settings.

The settings for the default langauge can be found in the section: Default Settings.

Change the Language setting from English (EN) to Deutsch (DE) - or to the language you have installed. As mentioned before, this setting will be used as default for new users and for all pages you create in the future. All Users can change their preferred language settings via the Preferences menu in the WB backend.
Further on, the settings for Timezone, Date- and Timeformat should be adjusted to your geographic location. Please note that changes will only be taken over after clicking on the Save button.
After that, the backend will appear in the language you have choosen (here German).

Important notice:
The default language file English (EN.php) should not be deleted, even if you will not use it.
